Fun Facts
pet photography
I dabbled in photography for years starting with my kids and sports, then street photography. My true passion began with taking pictures of dogs and cats at local animal rescues.

I foster dogs and in the last 7 years, have had probably close to 100!? dogs (mostly puppies!) in my home. My "foster fail" Charlie is the best nanny and teaches all the pups how to dog.

These experiences have deepened my love for animals as well as honed my skills in capturing their essence through photography.

I also work as a therapist and have have fostered a lot of bottle baby puppies through the years.

They would come to work with me because I needed to feed them regularly so they would bunk down in an empty office.

Occasionally clients would find out about these puppies and it often ended up with a client holding a tiny baby puppy during their session!

Animals are so therapeutic, loving something that adores you with their whole heart is incredibly healing.

Things I love!

Animals, I am the person who goes up to strangers to say hello to their furry friends. Even better if they have feathers or scales.

Nature and the outdoors, I am a backpacker who enjoys a long trail. The longest I have hiked is the Colorado Trail. At 567 miles long, I clocked in at 43 days. I may not be fast but I do have endurance!

My family, consisting of my husband, 3 grown kiddos and their spouses, 3 grandkids, 4 granddogs, and one patient dog model-Charlie.
